I'm Retired from the United States Air Force, and Dept. Of Defense civil service, but am an active photographer. I've Lived in Wai'anae, Hawaii for the last 43 years. I've lived in Japan, and Taiwan and visited Okinawa, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. I retired from the Air Force in 1982 and civil service back in 2005. I try to get out and shoot just about everyday. I shoot with a Canon EOS R5 and EOS R right now. In Hawaii I shoot surfing and boogie boarders when the waves are flowing. During the times that surfing isn't active I shoot the flora and fauna and all creatures big and small. Humpback whale seasons runs from about February through April and dolphins seals and turtles are all year round. Throw in the sunrises and sunsets and I'm never without something to capture.
